Playing a fabulous round of golf, fundraising for local organisations and enjoying an amazing celebration evening at a superb Lancashire club amongst great company… what more could you ask for?
Logic Wealth Planning is a lucky firm of independent financial advisers. We have enjoyed another busy year, helping some great clients. Furthermore, we’ve topped our fundraising total for a local hospice once again.
We have a close relationship with Springhill Hospice in Rochdale. Therefore, it was a pleasure to hand over a cheque for £3,555 earlier this month following our most recent charity golf day.
Springhill Hospice provides specialist care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. Many of the staff at Logic Wealth Planning have visited the centre. It’s been a delight to welcome some of the dedicated people from the hospice to our offices.
This year more than fifty players took part in our charity golf day at the stunning Rossendale Golf Club. Entrance fees to play the 18 holes, raffles and other fundraising ideas boosted this year’s total. It went beyond what we have collected at previous events.

Sophie Ansley, Springhill Hospice Events and Corporate Fundraiser, said: “Our relationship with Logic Wealth Planning is invaluable. Their continued support, participation in events, fundraising drive and passion for the hospice is one to be proud of.
“The partnership over the past few years has seen them become Hospice Business Buddies. They also participate in our Annual golf Day and then host their own fundraising Golf Day for the hospice.
“The hospice costs approx. £3 million per year, on average £9,300 per day, 70% of which has to be raised through community fundraising efforts.
“The funds raised from such events can go towards funding the transport running costs for our Day Hospice van for the year. Or one patient can receive the full care they need from the Hospice.
“Our sincere thanks go to the whole team for the difference they are making.”
