Investment in people is essential, especially in the financial services sector. One of Logic Wealth Planning’s apprentices, Morgan, has just scored a hat-trick of exam passes, but there’s a longer-term goal in his sights…
Giving good quality independent advice involves regular interaction with clients. Also, a sound understanding of money and investments. But ongoing learning in what is a fast-changing environment is also essential.
We should never stop building knowledge, looking at situations differently and appreciating things from other people’s perspectives.
This approach has influenced how Logic Wealth Planning is developing. It has shaped how apprentices like Morgan have grown with the business. On-the-job experience, watching, listening and learning, but also some dedicated study time.
Skills and qualifications
There’s a lot to be said for gaining specific qualifications that are relevant to your role. Where money, investments and wealth planning is concerned, it’s essential. It shows commitment to the industry and gives clients confidence that they are dealing with an adviser who is equipped to give the best possible advice.
For Morgan, the target is the RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. It’s the qualification of choice for the planning profession.
With three exams passed, there’s are six in total to achieve the recognised qualification. Everyone at Logic Wealth Planning celebrated with him recently, with the obligatory cake and candles to mark the occasion.
In addition to exam success, in mid-May Morgan joined the rest of the Logic Wealth Planning office to mark four years at the new office.
Morgan’s apprenticeship target is to finish the last exam before the end of October. It’s a tough timetable, but he’s already shown that he’s up to the challenge.
For now, he’s all caked out. But you can guarantee that with his subsequent success there will be more baking on the menu to keep everyone smiling.
Morgan is making the headlines and for all the right reasons. He is forging a career with Logic Wealth Planning, and everyone at our Heywood office is proud of his efforts and achievements so far.
Our approach is simple: listen more than we talk, then map out the best financial path that gives you peace of mind.
